SC Historical Association Prizes

Established in the association's constitution, the Daniel Hollis Prize is awarded at the Annual Meeting for outstanding articles that are published in The Journal of the South Carolina Historical Association. In even numbered years, the prize may go to the best graduate student member's article published in the past two years (current and previous year); whereas in odd numbered years, the prize may go to the best article published in the past two years by a professional member (current and previous year). Articles are selected by the Daniel Hollis Prize  Committee.
